Heads Up: Warminster, Pa. Wag & Walk

It seems like pets always have a knack for bringing people together – especially when it’s around a great cause like the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk. I’m excited for Precise to sponsor a local fundraiser in my area called Wag & Walk 2010, coming up Nov. 7 in Warminster, Pa.

The walk is set to kick off at 9 a.m. in Warminster Community Park at the Hallowell Pavilion. Donations are $10 per dog, and I think it would be a lot of fun to ask family and friends to sponsor your pup. And here’s a little incentive: As a sponsor, Precise will be giving away free 1.1-pound bags to the first 100 participants in the walk, as well as prizes for the first, second, and third-place participants who raise the most money.

If you have any questions about the Wag & Walk, contact Carolyn Roth at onthemove1990@gmail.com, and check out the group’s fundraising progress on its Memory Walk website. They’re hoping for $5,000, and the Wag & Walk will be a great start.

Even though the walk is two months away, now is a great time to start raising money. Download the form below to record your sponsorships, and I’ll see you there!
